Peter Mafany Musonge,Southwest Regional Campaign team leader and Grand Chancellor of the National Order,has stated that no one ever wins an election in advance because certain forces can make it possible for one to fail. Musonge was speaking recently in Bokova,in one of a series of CPDM campaign tours, which brought together traditional rulers of the Bonavada area,Buea Divisional campaign team leaders, militants and sympathisers of CPDM. ''The only thing is that no one wins an election in advance because certain things can happen which can make it possible for one to fail,''Musonge stressed. He however enjoined the youths of the Bonavada community to direct the elderly persons in the community, on polling day, to be able to recognise the image of their candidate Paul Biya, and not to cast their votes to the wrong candidates.
Hon Emilia Monjowa Lifaka,MP for Fako West Constituency,Vice President of the National Assembly and Coordinator for CPDM Buea Divisional Campaign team,told the militants that they were not out to campaign because the Bonavada community has been noted for its complete support to the CPDM.
''Today,we are not here to campaign, but to encourage you because you have always listened to us at all times.If we say that we are here to campaign,it will be that there has ever been a time you people did not vote for CPDM,''she said.
She however urged militants of the party resident in Bonavada to vote for CPDM,citing the numerous appointments of their sons and daughters by Paul Biya,in top government positions in the country.
On his part, Mathias Kombe,Koke Subsection President who spoke on behalf of Bonakanda and Bova Subsections told the militants and sympathisers of the party that the decision they will make come October 9, will decide the fate of the country. He called on them to dacide wisely for if it is a wrong decision,it will damage the peace Cameroonians enjoy.
''It is a day you will want to remember because the decision you will take on October 9,will decide the fate of this country,Cameroon.If it is a wrong decision,it will damage the peaceful atmosphere we enjoy,''he highlighted.
He equally called on the militants to vote for CPDM candidate, citing the numerous developments that the Bonavada communities have benefited from Biya's administration,stating that they will vote for him without any conditions put in place.
''The Bonavada three subsections have every reason to vote for their leader Paul Biya.Look at our health centres,schools and the ring road.We believe that the journey has just started and we will decide to follow him unconditionally,''he emphasied.
Prior to the CPDM campaign rally in Bokova,the Buea Divisional campaign team leaders headed by Hon Emilia Lifaka have been moving from one village to another with the message being that of vote for their candidate Paul Biya massively,come October 9.//The Entrepreneur NewsOnline
