CEEPA, which is housed at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Pretoria, is mandated to enhance the capacity of African researchers to conduct environmental economics and policy inquiry of relevance to African problems and sustainable development. Under funding from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada and the Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA), CEEPA implements the Visiting African Scholar Fellowship.
Dr Ernest Molua is expected to achieve a significant advancement in his teaching and research abilities during the residency period and contribute to supporting teaching, research and supervision of students’ thesis research activities at Makerere University and University of Pretoria. The fellowship programme provides financial support to Dr Ernest Molua for a full nine months residency period.
