An International Economic Forum for Africa has been launched in Yaounde. The Forum which is scheduled to hold from 8th to 11th July 2008 was launched by Cameroon's Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Mr Badel Ndinga Ndanga. The forum organised under the theme: "Investment and Industrial Partnership in Africa: Balance Sheet and Perspective", shall provide a plate form for discussion on issues concerning the development of sectors such as industry, agriculture, tourism, energy and telecommunications in Africa. Participants the International Economic Forum will be attended by participants from Africa, Europe and America.
Central and west economic correspondents meet in Yaoundé
A 3-day capacity building seminar for economic correspondents of West and Central Africa opened in Yaounde. Participants at the seminar are consular correspondents of the two sub regional economic bodies. For three days, they shall learn the different techniques of International Trade. At the opening ceremony, the Director of IRIC, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi said the importance of the encounter can be seem from the fact that two sub regional bodies, CEMAC and ECOWAS shall share experience in International Trade. The seminar is organised by the Association for Investment in the Franc Zone (IZF). // CRTV
